Strong brotherhood where all accepted and supported

THINKING of a Catholic education for your son?

Here are a few reasons why you might consider De La Salle College, Revesby.
Firstly, the College promotes a sense of brotherhood where all boys are welcomed, accepted and supported.
They also encourage a sense of faith and service so that students can give back to their school, their families and the wider community.
Secondly, being leading educators, last year’s College captain and Dux Christopher Tran achieved an ATAR of 99.35.
“While we always have some very strong HSC results, our learning growth is also consistently strong,” Principal Michael Hollis said.
“Our staff are friendly, dedicated and genuinely invested in the students’ success. We cater for a range of abilities at De La Salle with a well-staffed Diverse Learning Team for the young men who require additional support and the Newman Selective Gifted Education Program runs across Years 7 to 10.”
Thirdly, the College provide many opportunities for students resulting in talented sportsmen, artists, debaters, musicians, and chess and table tennis players.
Finally, the best part about the College is its size.
“We’re what I call a “Goldilocks school” – not too big, not too small, but just right,” the Principal said.
“With just under 650 students, your son will be known if he comes to De La Salle; he won’t be overlooked or just a face in the crowd which can happen in large schools.
“Here, teachers will know your son’s name. Most importantly, they will know him – what he likes, how he learns best and how to get the best out of him.”
If you have a son in Year 5 or Year 6, a great opportunity to find out more is on offer at the College’s open day on Wednesday, March 13, 4-7pm.
