Stay healthy at home

Washing your hands, wearing a mask and getting tested for Covid-19 are all vital at the moment – and so is looking after your general health and well-being during lockdown.
Spending more time at home due to Covid-19 restrictions can make staying healthy and active hard which is why Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) has developed a Healthy@Home toolkit.
Containing practical health and wellbeing tips, the toolkit includes information for the western Sydney community to eat well, keep active, stay connected and promote mental wellbeing.
Some graphics are available in other languages including Arabic, Dari, Korean, Persian, simplified Chinese, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Councils, schools, early childhood services and other organisations are encouraged to share the toolkit to help support the wellbeing of the community during lockdown, while individuals should also share it with family and friends.
“We have developed the graphics based on current community needs such as local food support services and staying active if you live in a unit,” WSLHD health promotion operations manager Michelle Nolan said.
