Starliners swing in for best of 60s

JOURNEY back to the sensational sixties and join The Starliners for a special Christmas show at Gasparo Italian Restaurant at the Georges River Golf Club on Friday, December 20.

MC Wayne Thomas describes their tribute show, ‘Girl Power from the 60s’ as “an energetic and exciting cabaret style show”.
“With knock-out vocalists, stellar musicians, stunning costumes, creative choreography, a taste of music trivia and comedy on the side, The Starliners will transport you back to those incredible days,” he said.
“Featuring some of the biggest hits of the 20th century in a dazzling two hour presentation, it’s no surprise this show has played some of the biggest clubs in Australia.
“The Starliners pay tribute to the females that helped shape a decade, such as Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Helen Reddy, Lesley Gore, Lulu, Martha and The Vandellas, Nancy Sinatra, Petula Clark, The Crystals, The Ronettes, The Supremes, Tina Turner and more.”
Doors open from 7.40pm for showtime of 8.25pm. Tickets: $20. Bookings: gasparo.com.au.
