With her quirky personality and some of the finest musicians in Australia, Karen will bring you a concert of pure musical pleasure when she takes to the stage on Wednesday, September 4, in The Grand Ballroom from 11am.
One of the most popular cabaret performers in Australia today, she moved to Sydney from Perth in her late teens to pursue a career in entertainment.
Before long she had performed on all major Australian Television variety shows and won a 36-show engagement at the MGM Grande Hotel in Las Vegas. This was followed by national tours with Bob Hope and Neil Sedaka.
Having won three industry MO Awards and three ACE Awards, her versatility in cabaret and theatre also landed her the leading role of “Fantine” in an Australian production of “Les Miserables”.
She has recorded three albums, Romantically Inclined, Here to Eternity which receives airplay in Australia and Europe, and her latest CD When Somebody Loves You featuring timeless ballads from her cabaret shows.
