Diners should note that the capacity at the restaurant is limited to just under 300 at a time, so bookings are essential in peak times; if you do not book, you may have to wait but not for too long.

In addition, Star Buffet is not currently self-service, with diners being served at the extensive range of food stations by appropriately masked and gloved staff.
“All that we are doing complies with government guidelines, and we are confident that you will enjoy a great dining experience,” a spokesperson said.
“At Star Buffet you can expect to find all your old favourites such as roast duck, roast pork, char siu and soya chicken, as well as an outstanding array of desserts.
“We have had to temporarily stop offering our famous sushi and chocolate fountain though, for compliance reasons, but they will be back as soon as possible.”
