Staff get time off to spruce up river on World CleanUp Day

REMOVING 2,208 pieces of waste, Lactalis Australia Lidcombe staff (pictured) have undertaken a massive spruce up of the Duck River foreshore in World CleanUp Day efforts.

For the second consecutive year, Lactalis Australia – an Australian company producing dairy products since the opening of the Pauls milk factory in the 1930s – mobilised its employees to roll up their sleeves and join its global Lactalis Group counterparts in answering the call to help make the world cleaner.
The company encourages its employees to volunteer their time for causes by providing two half days of paid CSR (corporate social responsibility) Leave.
Lactalis’ Larissa O’Donovan said: “People are at the heart of everything we do, so giving staff the opportunity to volunteer for causes like World Cleanup Day is a huge priority for us as a business.”
