Spreading cheer throughout club

IN Christmas seasons past Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club was home to a huge line-up of ‘Big time entertainment’ in the auditorium. But this year they are doing things a little differently.

As the year winds down, and venues can provide a little more of the ‘old normal’, CHP have spread out their facilities as well as their entertainment offers. With your ‘CHP experience’, comfort and safety being their highest priority, they have replaced a few big shows with lots of experiences for everyone throughout the festive season.
Restrictions may have been lowered this week, but it is important to note that all of the ‘new behaviours’ we have been so diligently practicing must continue. Whilst venue operators are able to seat more patrons, everyone must continue to work together and practice social distancing, remain seated and avoid mingling.
At CHP RSL they will bring the entertainment to you throughout the Club, celebrating Christmas….and all that Jazz!
During December you’ll find live musicians popping up in ‘The Park’ bar on Thursday nights, and in ‘The Jazz Club Bistro’ on Friday nights.
You can celebrate Christmas Day in ‘The Jazz Club Bistro’ with four festive courses and the sounds of ‘Juliane Di Sisto’ or book a table in your favourite venue and enjoying the roving ‘A Capella’ Carollers.
Celebrate New Years Eve with a booking in any venue and enjoy the ‘Swingin’ Rovin’ Cabaret’ throughout the Club. Get Fancy and dress Gatsby.
Book in advance to avoid disappointment and to help the club to manage its capacity.
“It is with thanks to our fantastic community, and the part everyone has played during this difficult year that we are able to offer more of what you love, little by little,” club CEO, Dean Thomas said.
“By respecting the safety measures that we are asking, you have all contributed to CHP RSL operating a safe and welcoming Club.”
