Spectacular lineup of free entertainers

KICKING off the spectacular lineup of free entertainment at Petersham RSL Club this weekend, leading solo artist Mark Broughton, who has become one of the most called upon singer/guitarists in the country, will take to the stage on Thursday from 7.30pm.

A true professional and an amazing showman, Mark performs a range of best loved songs from the 50s right through to the present.

Next up on Friday from 7.30pm, Tony Remedios has been entertaining for over three decades.

Coming from a string of tribute and cover Bands – Beatnix, Echoes, Fab Four and  recently, 60s Chart toppers, Tony still maintains a strong passion for the music he loves.

His main forte lies in the delivery of authentic cover versions being able to emulate whichever singer he covers, predominantly classic gold of the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Then the legendary Mike Mathieson makes a splash on Saturday night from the special time of 6.30pm.

Sporting a vocal range that spans almost three octaves, he has the uncanny ability to move from a soft emotional ballad, then effortlessly into jazz and classic standards, to full on rock with equal ease.

Then from 2pm on Sunday, ‘Back to the Tivoli’ provides the ultimate in variety entertainment, featuring comedy, instrumentalists, singers, dancers, ventriloquists and contortionists as well as stunning showgirls gracing the stage as the magnificent Tivoli band gets into full swing for your enjoyment.
