Church Warden Brian Perrett said the fabulously talented South Pacific Concert Band lifted the roof off the building with attendees joining them in the chorus for all of carols.
Originally an army band that can trace its origins back to the 1870s, they are based in the church hall and annually showcase their talents on Anzac Day.
“It was really a wonderful, heartfelt early celebration of Christmas, with a puppet show, sausage sizzle, kebabs, cold drinks and ice-cream and we hope to see everyone back here for the 9am Christmas Day Church Service next Sunday,” he said.
