With all residents invited to the night on Saturday, July 29, Snooker Club President Barry Selberg said this year’s charity recipient would be the Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown.
“They receive no government funding but the Trilogy Foundation volunteers are dedicated to advancing education to children with special needs in the district,” he said.
“It’s going to be a fantastic night with a two-course meal, mega raffle and auction and first rate entertainment by The Blues Brothers Rebooted starring Shane Peters and cricket legend Len Pascoe will be the auctioneer and host.”
Barry said it would be a night to remember and every dollar collected would be donated to Trilogy.
“We are catering for about 150 and the bookings are filling up fast,” he said.
Also on the lookout for more Snooker players, Barry said men and women of all ages and experience levels were welcome.
“It’s a social, enjoyable sport that’s very satisfying when you develop a few skills,” he said.
“So come along and have some fun; just turn up at the club on Wednesdays from 5.30pm.”
Christmas in July tickets cost $60; call the Padstow Bowling Club on 9773 8917.
