So believes Ben Horwitz, founder of Smash Room City in Homebush West, who says he offers a safe space for you to unleash feelings and stress through having a scream and physically throwing items such as plates, glasses and even TVs while wearing protective gear.
“We’re able to offer corporate bookings and other work-related events, parties, individuals or for couple time,” he said.
“So pump up the music, grab your sledgehammer or bat and a crate of breakables and you’ll feel exhilarated as you start the smash.”
Providing an alternative entertainment or bonding experience for up to four smashers in a room, those aged under 18 are also welcome so long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Simply get in touch and let Ben know what you’re looking for and he’ll do his best to accommodate you.
Before you start your session, costing $60 for 30 minutes, you are supplied with overalls, a fully-protected helmet, work boots and gloves – you can also bring your smash items of choice so long as they are approved by staff, with a viewing window to watch all the fun.

Smashing good time’s top fun, stress reliever
SMASHING stuff and breaking things might not seem like a relaxing activity, but clearing your mind can help you slow down and better focus on more important things than your stress.
