The sinkhole was reported to Canterbury Bankstown Council yesterday and it was made safe for road users by the end of the day.
Further works will be undertaken over the next two weeks to repair the hole.

COMING across this potential motorist disaster while on Johnson Road, Bass Hill, a resident wants to warn others before it’s too late: “Looks like water has got out of the drain and made a sinkhole. Would hate to drop a wheel in it.”
