Sikh community hosts Open Day

MINISTER for Multiculturalism, Mark Coure, joined the Sikh community, fellow politicians and special guests for an Open Day Celebration at Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Revesby earlier this month.

Mr Coure says the Sikh community has made considerable contributions to our wider society, and he is incredibly proud to see this community grow and flourish as part of our rich multicultural society.
“This was the very first Sikh place of worship in our beautiful city, and it has come a long way since its beginnings as a doctor’s surgery almost half a century ago,” he said.
“The temple has grown as a result of a hardworking and passionate community dedicated to preserving their wonderful culture and religion here in NSW.”
