Fernwood Fitness Beverly Hills is partnering with Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week this year, starting on Monday, September 5, in a seven-day campaign featuring more than 1,700 events.
“It may seem absurd, but women need reminding that it’s okay to put themselves first. So often they put the needs of family, friends, even their pets, above their own,” says Renea Camilleri, Women’s Health Week and Community Engagement Manager at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health.
“We know women are time-poor and it’s not always easy to get to an event, so that’s why we bring Women’s Health Week to you.
“By signing up to our daily emails you will still be part of the week. They’ll provide you with access to special podcasts, webinars, quizzes, recipes, videos and free health information.”
There will be a health topic daily including Health Checks For Every Age, Menopause Matters, Pelvic Power, Mind Health, and Move and Improve.
“We are encouraging all women to see the Women’s Health Week as an opportunity and reminder to put ourselves first, look after our mental, physical and emotional health and prioritise these areas of our lives,” Renea said.

AT a time when health has never been so important, research reveals a growing number of women have been forgoing or delaying health checks because of time constraints juggling work, family, covid restrictions and natural disasters.
