Shoppers enjoyed an opportunity to meet Bankstown police

SATURDAY shoppers enjoyed an opportunity to meet Bankstown police and raise any of their concerns when officers dropped into Georges Hall and Bass Hill shopping centres.
The visits were held in conjunction with Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce, with Superintendent Adam Johnson and officers building relations with businesses and the community.
“It also gives us an opportunity to listen to any local concerns face-to-face with our community members,” Supt Johnson said.
“It’s good for our police to engage in a positive sense in order to see the overwhelming support we have from the majority and decent members of our community.”
