Deputy Mayor Rachelle Harika (pictured) joined The Culinary School at Punchbowl where they made RUOK? Donuts with school students, while Riverwood Community Centre held a free morning tea (pictured), encouraging everyone to have a chat with other locals.
“It is really important to celebrate RUOK? everyday. By striking a conversation or even simply by giving a smile, it could change a life,” Deputy Mayor Harika said.
Riverwood Community Centre spokesperson, Cr Karl Saleh said it was important to let the community know they’re still here to hear, with a reminder that “every day is the day to ask, ‘Are you OK?’”
