FLASH flooding and strong winds during last Friday’s severe storm caused havoc on the roads and minor flooding. While Cumberland escaped the worst of it, rain gauges at Sydney Olympic Park recorded 41.8mm of rain on Friday, with a further 40.4mm falling on Saturday before 9am.
