Fulfilling the transport needs of eligible residents living in Cumberland and Parramatta LGAs, the not-for-profit’s customers include the elderly or transport-disadvantaged residents who have no means to access critical services such as doctors’ appointments, shopping for essentials or attending the group’s organised social gatherings necessary for their physical and mental well-being.
While transport may seem like only a tiny portion of the bigger landscape of community services, it is sometimes the most crucial service that connects all other dots.
“At Community Wheels, we pride ourselves on delivering responsive, reliable and safe transport services to our customers from Western Sydney and surrounds,” a spokesperson said.
“We receive funding from Transport for NSW to provide this critical, subsidised service to our community.
“Our customers are the most important part of our business, and we work tirelessly to ensure their complete satisfaction.”
