GROUPS that help seniors stay connected, can now apply for a share in the $600,000 NSW Reducing Social Isolation grants program. Applications are also now open for the 2021 Variety Heart Scholarships, which provide grants of up to $5,000 for children with talent who need help to pursue their dreams. New worker boost
ELIGIBLE employers could receive up to $10,400 over a year for each eligible additional employee aged 16-29 they hire until October 6. Under the scheme, up to $5,200 is also available for new hires, aged 30-35. ATO deputy commissioner James O’Halloran says eligible employers can start claiming payments in arrears from February 1 for up to 12 months. Details: ato.gov.au.
