Seize weapons, drugs in raid before charges over shooting

A MAN has been charged after police raided a home in Auburn as they investigate a shooting at Chester Hill earlier this month.

The 19-year-old was charged with in company rob while armed with dangerous weapon, take or detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage and possess unauthorised pistol.
Police also seized a loaded firearm, an extendable baton, cannabis, and cash during the search of the Gordon Road home last Friday morning.
The arrest was the third by detectives attached to Strike Force Pylara detectives, established to investigate a public-place shooting at Everley Road, Chester Hill, on Monday, October 2.
