He was allegedly one of three men with firearms who forced their way into a Lidcombe home just before 10pm on Wednesday, July 19, and assaulted and threatened a 31-year-old man. The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and a 30-year-old woman, 68-year-old man and 18-month-old baby, who were inside at the time, were not physically injured.
The following night police were called to a car fire in Chipping Norton. The allegedly stolen car had cloned number plates and linked to the incident in Lidcombe the night before.
The 29-year-old was the second man to be charged with fire firearm at dwelling-house with disregard for safety and specially aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-weapon.
Second charged in home invasion
A SECOND man has been charged after shots were allegedly fired during an aggravated home invasion in Lidcombe in July.
