Jacob and Sienna are among the 100 young people who will be honoured for their achievements at the upcoming Cumberland Young Champions Awards.
Initiated by entrepreneur Brian Laul, Chairperson of Rainbow Crossing Inc., and vice president of the Greater Cumberland Chamber of Commerce, the Young Champions Awards acknowledge the achievements of young people under 19 and to celebrate their contributions.
Mr Laul said award nominations in 20 categories were open until 5pm this Friday, June 9, with winners announced at the Gala Awards High Tea on Sunday, June 18, at Wenty Leagues.
“We have so many talented and passionate youth creating positive change and sometimes just a pat on the back, a little appreciation, can make a real difference and give them the determination to go even further,” he said.
