Membership card swiping began at 5pm with the first draw taking place at 7pm. While there was no winner of the major prize at that time, $1,000 was given away in the Bonus Cash Draw.
Draws from the entire membership base continued every half hour, with those lucky members drawn needing to be personally present to claim their prize within four minutes; the jackpot continued to climb until it reached $63,000 by 9pm.
The membership number was called and within 60 seconds, K Dao came running from the restaurant precinct to claim her prize and then danced, holding the oversized cheque above her head.
A Bankstown Sports member for nearly a decade, K Dao recently became a digital member to help decrease the impact on the environment.

EXCITEMENT was in the air as Bankstown Sports members descended on the club last Thursday to take part in the final Members’ Draw for the year and maybe walk away $63,000 richer.
