Georges River Grammar mums were treated to a breakfast on Friday, served by Year 11 and 12 Hospitality students while being serenaded by the Primary Choir and String Ensemble.
“It was a heartwarming celebration for the extraordinary women who enrich our lives every day,” a school spokesperson said.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion.”
While at the Bankstown Sports Stars FC celebration held at Padstow Park on Saturday, as their grounds were washed out, attendees were told motherhood was harder than any Olympic sport.
“Behind every soccer player, there’s an exhausted and proud mother who cheers, supports, washes uniforms, ties laces, soothes injuries, comforts after losses, celebrates victories, organises schedules and provides endless encouragement,” a spokesperson said.
“Appreciate your mother’s dedication and support.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible superstar soccer mums.”
