Berala Public is establishing a centenary committee to get underway in Term 3 and is seeking expressions of interest from staff, parent and community representatives.
It has also put a call out for memorabilia.
Relieving Principal Robyn White said she was filled with excitement as they prepared to celebrate the school’s monumental milestone.
“This cherished occasion not only marks a century of educational excellence but also commemorates the profound impact our school has had on generations of students, parents and the broader community,” Ms White said.
“It’s a testament to the commitment and dedication of our staff, students and alumni who have contributed to shaping Berala Public School’s rich history.
“Together, we will celebrate a century of academic achievements, lifelong friendships and cherished memories, while also setting our sights on an even brighter future for the next generation.”
To express interest in being on the committee as well as indicate any memorabilia, go to facebook.com/BeralaPublicSchool by this Friday, June 2.
