☐ GREENACRE Area Community Centre whipped up a special school holiday activity, with a TAFE chef giving 15 children, aged six to 12 years, their very first cooking class.
With parents getting to enjoy the results at the end, the children made pasta, mushroom and beef mince sauce, potato salad and pink lemon cakes.
“Commonwealth Bank Chullora manager Marina Dawoud also attended and presented us with a $500 cheque to go towards the cooking class,” centre executive officer Maria Votano explained.
