Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said the NSW Liberal and Nationals Government is focused on easing the pressure on household budgets over the holiday period.
“This weekend presents the perfect opportunity to spend time with the family by exploring our amazing regions and the Savings Finder will ensure families can take advantage of the travel savings on offer,” Mr Toole said.
“From Byron Bay to Bombala, Broken Hill and everywhere in between, we are offering a range of discounts that will help reduce the cost of a family road trip during what is traditionally an expensive time of year, with school about to go back.
“Every little saving will help create some great summer memories, so jump online, book an appointment and join the millions who have already saved with Savings Finder.”
The National Parks Concession Pass and Recreational Fishing Fee Exemption are among the top recreational rebates with the people of Taree, Toukley and Armidale proving to be the biggest lovers of these leisure activities.
Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government Victor Dominello said more than 4.3 million people in NSW have accessed the Savings Finder webpage since July 2018, delivering more than $7 billion worth of savings with the average saving around $750 per person.
“The summer is an opportunity to relax and unwind and take advantage of the discounts available across NSW,” Mr Dominello said
“Through Savings Finder there are more than 70 rebates, vouchers and concessions to help with cost of living pressures including the FuelCheck app which could save you money every time you fill up.”
Savings Specialists are available in-person at Service NSW centres or via phone on 13 77 88, providing personalised assistance to find which initiatives are best suited to a customer’s individual needs.
