“Your presence instantly brightens the atmosphere and creates magical moments that will be cherished forever,” he said.
“Being a Santa character is not just about being the focus of family Christmas photos; it’s about creating lifelong memories, kindling the spirit of giving and spreading the magic of the holiday season.
“The mere sight of a Santa character evokes a sense of excitement and you have the power to bring smiles to the faces of children and adults alike.”
Mr Hearn says that although he gets paid for being Santa, he would happily do it for free.
The father of four, grandfather of eight and great grandfather of 11, says most children don’t ask for much but others come with a list.
“Sometimes they sit on my lap and tell me their stories, babies are usually happy but sometimes toddlers find the big man in red a bit scary,” he said.
“I work right up to Christmas Eve as being Santa really makes my Christmas.
“I encourage other retired men to give it a go as we are about 30 Santas short this year and it’s truly so much fun.”
