Salsa way to Latin Dance Nights for memorable evening out at RSL

THROW on your dancing shoes and grab some friends as Latin Dance Nights launch live in the Void at the Bankstown RSL from next month.

Featuring an amazing dance band on the first and third Friday of each month, Latin Power will kick things off on Friday, October 4, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.
Featuring a line-up of dynamic performers, Latin Power has a wide repertoire which appeals to audiences of all ages with musical styles including salsa, cumbia, merengue, soca, bolero, cha-cha and reggaeton.
As well as traditional tunes, Latin Power perform contemporary hits from Latin America, plus English lyric songs from Santana, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias and other renowned artists of the Latin wave.
Another popular Sydney Latin outfit, the always popular Salsa Kingz will also be regular performers at Bankstown RSL, hitting the dance floor at the Void on Friday, October 18, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm.
A multi-award winning party band, they have blazed a trail across Australian venues since 2004, seamlessly performing in both English and Spanish, all while coupling their passionate flair for musical showmanship wherever they go.
Their ability to merge popular Latin tunes with classic Aussie anthems, while adding their unique ‘Salsa twist’ to every song, is just one reason behind their success.
With an ability to engage audiences that is second to none, the band’s founding band leader is Christian Guerrero, who is no stranger to the Latin scene, previously performing with the renowned Sonora Galaxia Band, including at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
