Rotary helps set up students for day

SETTING boys up for the day, the Rotary Club of Campsie has been supporting Canterbury Boys’ High School with their new initiative, ’The School Breakfast 4 Health’.

Studies show that one in five children attend school once a week without having breakfast and this negatively impacts their concentration in the classroom.
The school partnered with Foodbank to provide food items but needed essential equipment, with the Rotary Club of Campsie making a donation towards the purchase of appliances including a freezer, dishwasher, toaster and sandwich presses.
Rotary Campsie President Nathan Taleb, accompanied by club’s Violet Mansour-Jamil, made the presentation to school principal Ross Dummett (pictured) last week.
