A 25-year-old man was driving a LDV along Yerrick Road, Lakemba, about 5.15pm on Friday, April 5, when he was allegedly cut off by a Toyota reversing from a driveway. The Toyota followed the LDV and was driven into oncoming traffic before it came to a stop directly in front, with the male driver allegedly getting out and producing a knife.
A 32-year-old man, who was the registered owner of the Toyota, was charged with carry on business of motor dealer when unlicensed, and owner not disclose identity of driver/passenger, while the 27-year-old was charged with knowingly drive vehicle in manner menaces other, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, use etc offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence, and destroy or damage property.
Road rage incident probe results in ‘unlicensed car dealer’ charge
A MAN from Granville was one of two charged following an investigation into an alleged road rage incident at Lakemba earlier this year.
