Presently offering 64 rooms, the expansion will add another 34 purpose-designed rooms prioritising comfort and individualised care in a welcoming, homely environment.
From beautifully landscaped gardens to cosy lounges in a variety of communal areas, the new building encompasses a range of facilities to enhance residents’ overall well-being, with a large car park under the building for resident and visitor convenience.
Business Development and Community Engagement Manager Simone Lucidi says the carefully designed spaces prioritise accessibility, safety and convenience.
“We want to ensure residents feel right at home, among friends, while receiving the expert care they deserve,” he said.
Simone said the Annual Community Fete would double as a fundraiser to acquire more mobility aids for residents.
“These aids will allow them to navigate our facility independently and as such, we are calling on local businesses and individuals to donate raffle items and make stallholder inquiries,” he said.
Also fostering connections between residents and the local community, the family-friendly fete – on Saturday, October 14, 9.30am-2.30pm – will feature loads of free entertainment, coffee, food and local services.
