Exemplified through initiatives like the Frapp & Capp Coffee Shack (1 West Terrace, Bankstown), TLC Australia Operations CEO Laura Cowell said they’ve had much success providing meaningful employment opportunities.
The social enterprise cafe gives people with disability the opportunity to train in hospitality and create community connections.
“This cafe represents more than just a place to enjoy great coffee, it symbolises our commitment to inclusivity,” Laura said.
“We’re on a mission to demonstrate disability is not a barrier to successful training and work opportunities.”
With a delicious range of drinks and packaged snacks, Frapp & Capp Coffee Shack is open to the public Monday to Saturday, 7am-3pm.
Other TLC services include support in social, community and recreational participation, in-home support, financial planning, transport, meal delivery and connection with health professionals.
TLC Global CEO Yasser Zaki said the expo was a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a disability who wanted to get more out of life.
