Assembled in 1980 by founding member Tony Dean as a live performance entity, The Beatnix are among the longest running Beatles tribute shows in the world.
“The show includes authentic instruments, similar to those used by The Beatles, including rare guitars by Gretsch, Hofner, Rickenbacker and Gibson, Vox AC30 guitar amplifiers and a Vox AC50 bass amplifier with a T60 bass cabinet,” Dean said.
“The drums are identical to the ones used by Ringo, a 1960s model Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl kit.”
Combined with all your favourite songs, a range of early period costumes and the colourful Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band outfits, the show will give you the complete Beatles experience.
Catch it next Saturday, March 13, from 8pm with tickets $30; call 8677 5406 to book or for accessible seats, call the venue on 9707 9404 or email bryanbrowntheatre@cbcity.nsw.gov.au.
