When firefighters arrived just after 11am they found a large number of lithium batteries alight outside the building.
HAZMAT crews (pictured) extinguished the fire and contained any chemicals spilt from the batteries.
Three people who were exposed to the fumes were taken to hospital, but released a short time later.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
