Record donation to aid women’s refuge

AN International Women’s Day event at Revesby Workers’ Club, has raised $24,730.31 to support the work of Biyani House – Revesby Women’s Shelter, a part of the Women’s Community Shelters Network.

Biyani House offers essential short-term and emergency services to women in need, providing a safe haven for them to rebuild their lives.
“With the support of our partner Leagues Club Australia, event sponsors, board members and attendees, we have achieved our largest donation to date,” a spokesperson said.
