Taking part in Ready Set Dance classes, which forms the preschool division of Dance Theatre Network, the children are well supported across all abilities, genders and backgrounds and for so many, this really is their happy place, according to Principal Bec Kay.
“With my incredible team we have created a space where children in the local community can feel like they belong while also working on their performing arts training,” she said.
“We’re a family orientated studio where great importance is placed on honesty and integrity while building individual relationships with students and their families.”
In addition to Ready Set Dance, pre-schoolers can also enjoy Ready Set Ballet which is a 30 minute magical introduction to the world of ballet.
Invited along to enjoy the celebration, State MP for Canterbury, Sophie Cotsis, said it was lovely to see the students performing in their amazing facility.
“The strong sense of community was visible throughout my visit,” she said.
