Reach all NSW ‘Grand Finals’

IT was another successful year for the Bass High School rugby league program participants (pictured) with the U14s winning the NSWCHS Buckley Shield competition 18-10 against Kiama High School.

They next won the NRL schoolboy trophy final 22-18 in golden point play against St Josephs Aberdeen.
The Open boys also made the NSW University Grand Final but were beaten by Heathcote High and the Open girls made the Grand Final of the NSW All Schools Katrina Fanning Cup, going down to Ulladulla High after beating them in the Pool rounds.
For a co-educational high school of just 650 students, it is a wonderful achievement to make all the State Grand Finals and a great reflection of the hard work the students put in, turning up at 7am morning training sessions.
