The Supreme Court issued the 33-year-old man with a Serious Crime Prevention Order (SCPO) last December following an application by the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad.
Such orders may contain prohibitions, restrictions, requirements and other provisions as the court considers appropriate for the purpose of protecting the public by preventing, restricting or disrupting involvement by a person in serious crime related activities.
Strike Force Raptor arrested the man at a home in Auburn yesterday morning and he was charged with two counts of contravene Serious Crime Prevention Order.
Police will allege in court that the man was in contravention of his SCPO as he had failed to provide his correct vehicle information and was in possession of multiple mobile devices.
