Raise $20,000 at Charity Golf Day

THE sale of more than 1,900 raffle tickets and 112 players have helped raise over $20,000 at the 2nd Ralph Heness Golf Tournament (pictured).

Supported by the Lions Club of Parramatta, the funds will allow a young family whose son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, to buy a wheelchair-friendly car for family outings, school and medical appointments.
Mr Heness said the day would not have been possible without the support of Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club.
“We would like to thank the club and Emma Roach,” he said.
“We look forward to working with Dooley for years to come as we continue to serve the community.”
Mr Heness also wanted to acknowledge Rosnay Golf Club & Bistro, Bunnings Lidcombe, The Net Return Australia, Toohey’s, DJ’s Trophies, EI Australia, Ruth Everest Aquatic Centre, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Monster Energy for their ongoing support including raffle and auction prizes.
