A QUIET study space will be trialled at Berala Community Centre in the lead up to the HSC.

The centre will open from September 22 to October 20, 6-8pm, for HSC students and will be supported by extended opening hours at Auburn, Granville and Merrylands libraries on Friday evenings, 6-8pm, exclusively for HSC students.
Cr Kun Huang suggested the expansion to “help HSC students tackle their biggest challenge …probably in their life”.
“I think for a lot of us who have experienced the HSC, we know how stressful it is – quite often we would like to go to a place where we won’t be disrupted by family or friends,” he said.
Many local high schools will also be opening their libraries and hall spaces in the weeks prior to
the HSC for additional quiet study time.
