Pub birthday bash thriller

FORMER Bulldogs and many of their fans turned out at Twin Willows Hotel at Bass Hill to celebrate two birthdays – the pub’s 59th birthday and Bulldogs great Geoff ‘Robbo’ Robinson’s 66th, just before Christmas.

Robbo has been battling throat and tongue cancer and organiser and owner of the Twin Willows, Arthur Laundy, said the amazing turnout on the night was evident of the support he has in the community and football world.
“It was a great night, and to blow the candles out with my closest buddy (Robbo) gave me a great thrill,” he said.
“It was a bottler … a great night with a great bunch of people.
“Can’t wait to do it again.”
