Named the Category Champion for its 100 per cent Australian Pork- Signature Ham Off The Bone, Primo is Australia’s largest manufacturer of deli meats and supplies major food retailers and services across Australia.
Created by the Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC), these awards have been positioned as the premier awards for the Australian smallgoods industry, recognising products of quality and excellence, while promoting industry recognition and standards.
Open to manufacturers of Australian smallgoods products, over 350 entries were received across the awards categories with winners judged by an impressive line-up of judges including fleischmeisters, award-winning and celebrity chefs, artisan smallgoods makers and industry professionals.
Primo was also proud to take out further wins at the awards including Gold for Pancetta and Nonno Sopressa Salami as well as Bronze for Boneless Prosciutto.
