GEORGES Hall’s Jenny wants to warn others she was taking her car to be serviced on Monday when she hit a pothole on Hazel Street. The car has only driven 7,000km but the newish tyre needed to be replaced for $285. The repairers said for safety reasons, the corresponding tyre also needed to be replaced, with the total cost almost $600 before even paying for the service.
