Mayor Bilal El-Hayek said the parties were a great opportunity for the community to “celebrate the country we’re all so fortunate to call home”.
“Thousands of people flocked to our pools and splash park to beat the heat and celebrate our national day,” he said.
“It was the perfect way to cool off on a scorching day, while enjoying Indigenous performances and Aussie music. The little ones also loved the magic show and inflatable rides.”
