Police expose man’s child abuse material

A BANKSTOWN home was raided by police after a man was arrested in Milperra and charged with allegedly disseminating a video of another man exposing himself to young school children.

Strike Force Trawler – an ongoing investigation by Sex Crimes Squad’s Child Exploitation Internet Unit (CEIU) into the sexual abuse and exploitation of children facilitated through the internet and related telecommunications devices – arrested the 33-year-old last Tuesday, a day after beginning an investigation into the alleged circulation of the video of a man exposing himself to young school children at a primary school along with other child abuse related material.
The man also allegedly expressed a sexual interest in young infants and babies.
He was charged with two counts of use carriage service make available etc child abuse and fail to comply with reporting obligations.
Further inquiries have revealed the man who featured in the video was charged by Victoria Police for related offences and sentenced in 2023.
Investigations under Strike Force Trawler continue.
