Councillor Sabrin Farooqui and Cr Kun Huang (pictured) joined residents at Central Park where they planted more than 500 plants.
“It was a significant day when our residents came together to help the environment,” Cr Farooqui said, “It was perfect family day for all.”
“Residents also enjoyed the council-organised barbecue and asked me to organise more of these events where they feel good about doing something important for the environment along with having fun.”
