Showcasing avant-garde designs at Pyrmont’s prestigious Star on July 7, the young local will walk down the catwalk at this red carpet event which is set to be huge, attracting celebrities and national attention.
Known for her volunteer work, Ava has already raised money for the Australian Heart Foundation, the Luke Priddis Foundation for Autism Awareness and Westmead Children’s Hospital Cancer Research Unit.
Ms Da Silva has walked down multiple catwalks and also modelled for brands such as Madmia and Tiffany.
When asked how she felt about the big step she was taking in her career, she said: “This is the biggest runway show I’ve ever been in, but I’m not nervous. My coach Briony Loyd has helped me every step of the way.”
Ava is counting down the days until the show: “I can’t wait to see my very own Rocky Gathercole gown! All I know is that it is pink, I am so excited to see it.”
With drama, singing, jazz and tap among her studies, the pint sized philanthropist is sure to have a big future ahead of her.
