Physio’s ‘best in nation’

BANKSTOWN Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre has been named the best in the nation after taking out the Australian Small Business Champion Award in the physiotherapy category.

Up against five other finalists from across Australia, physiotherapy centre owner Jim Liakos said he was in shock when their named was called out at the presentation gala on February 27.
“We did win a Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Award in the Health Improvements category in 2015 and have been finalists every year since but this was the first time we entered the national awards,” he said.
“It truly feels magnificent to win and we are very happy.”
Jim says he puts his success down to the KIS principle.
“Keep it simple has always been my motto and of course, customer service is top priority,” he said.
“I think longevity may have something to do with it too since we have been looking after the community now for 21 years.”
Recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for small business and presented by Precedent Productions, the Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national recognition program for the nation’s small business.
