Rubbing her eyes in disbelief, she realised that a thief had drilled a hole in her petrol tank and drained her 2015 Holden Captiva of petrol.
“I am just so appalled to think that this happened during the day on a busy Monday and now I have to pay $1,000 to have it repaired.
“I don’t just have a random $1,000 lying around in my account and this will impact on me for a long time.
“I have lived here all my life and petrol robbing just doesn’t happen here, it’s not a high crime suburb.
“But it’s becoming a very scary place. I wanted to warn others as a friend told me they heard of it happening to someone recently in the Bunnings carpark at Bankstown.
“I have reported it but if anyone thought to take a photo or saw anyone acting suspiciously or can help, could they please contact Revesby police or email kristybentley76@gmail.com.”
